Tananas - unamunacua 
Tananas have always been the 'low riders' of the Cape jazz groove
- strongly loyal to their own musical freedom, exploring new directions and then inviting everyone to the 'party'.
Tananas have done just that on 'Unamunacua'. Hauling in 'their' favourite South African musos to create a widescreen, diverse and absorbing album with Nico Carstens, Victor Masondo, Robbie Jansen and Vusi Mamasela (on the beautiful 'Margaret'). 'Unamunacua' (meaning 'to cry when you're dreaming') could be the album that finally catapults Tananas, their wonderful music and their rich back catalogue onto world music's high road.
