In September 1997 PolyGram South Africa released this CD with catalogue number MMTCD 2007 as part of their excellent Essential Rock series. Other artists in this series include Bachman Turner Overdrive, Status Quoand Rod Stewart. Sleeve notes by Chris Venter who also compiled this CD. The 1987 tour was not their best, but this album is a pretty good introduction to the music of Deep Purple, both live and in the studio.
