THE "SA ROCK DIGEST/AMUZINE"
END OF THE CENTURY BIG VOTE
At the end of 1999, a poll was conducted online among readers of the SA Rock Digest e-mag and visitors to the Amuzine online music magazine... and here are the results.
A couple of comments: votes for Johnny Clegg, Juluka and Savuka were combined. Also the song 'Scatterlings of Africa' has been recorded by Juluka and Savuka, both Johnny Clegg bands, so we counted it as one song.

I FEEL THE NEED FOR THE SA ROCK DIGEST
On Thursday night the 31st May 2001, on SABC3's "Greed" programme, the Million Rand question was: "Name the top 4 South Artists of the century, according to a poll among readers of the South African Rock Digest e-mag and visitors to the Amuzine online music magazine."
The team had elected to cash-out, but played this round as a "what if?". They got 3 out of the 4 right.
